This standard covers the hot-dip galvanized steel sheets (hereinafter referred to as “steel sheets”) and the hot-dip galvanized strip (hereinafter referred to as “strip”) for automobile uses including those with both sides coated to the same thickness.

Note: Japanese steel manufacturers principally produce "Hot-dip galvannealed steel sheets and strip"(ISC-C21-008Y) for automobile uses, so not completely prepare for mass-production of non-alloy plating hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and strip defined by this standard. PURPOSE

This standard is made to establish the quality specifications for hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and the hot-dip galvanized strip for the purpose of assuring the quality of Isuzu`s product.
